Your first visit, start to finish.
All our practitioners are accepting new patients. Here’s how to book, prepare and find the clinic for your first appointment.
Step by step
How your first visit works.
Book online or call
Online booking lets you choose your treatment, practitioner and time. If you would rather talk to someone, or are not sure who to see, call (519) 432-7247 and reception will match you to the right practitioner.
Fill out your intake form
Please complete a health history form before your first appointment to save time in the room. Download the chiropractic health history form or the massage therapy health history form, fill it out and bring it with you.
Park behind the clinic
Free client parking is behind the building at 500 Oxford Street East, and the main entrance is at the rear. Arrive a few minutes early for your first visit.
Assessment first, then treatment
Your first appointment is an initial assessment and treatment. Your practitioner takes your history, examines the problem and starts treatment, then explains what they found and what they recommend.
Direct billing to your insurer
We bill many extended health insurers directly, so where your plan allows it you only pay the part it does not cover. See rates and insurance for the full list.
Questions
Before you come in.
What should I wear?
For massage therapy, the decision is entirely up to you. You may remove as much or as little clothing as you prefer; for full body massage, underwear is typically recommended. Draping with sheets is always used, so only the treatment area is uncovered. For chiropractic, osteopathic and stretch therapy visits, comfortable clothing you can move in is all you need.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please give 24 hours cancellation notice, or a $25 missed appointment fee may be charged. Appointments recorded as no shows will be billed the missed appointment fee.
What happens if I arrive late?
A client arriving late for a scheduled appointment may be charged the full scheduled fee at the discretion of the RMT. If your therapist runs late, they will do their best to give you the full appointment time, with your consent.
Can you bill my insurance directly?
We bill many extended health insurers directly. See the rates and insurance page for the list, and call ahead if you want help confirming what your plan covers. A doctor’s note may be required for massage therapy under some plans.
Where do I park and enter?
Free client parking is behind the clinic, and the main entrance is at the rear of the building.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book chiropractic, massage, acupuncture or osteopathic treatment in Ontario. Some insurance plans want a referral before reimbursing, so check your plan if you intend to claim.
